About the Author

Jeff Sackmann is the author of The GRE Math Bible, The GMAT Math Bible, and a variety of other test-prep resources. He has been helping students prepare for standardized tests and apply to graduate school since 2000.

Until July 2005, he worked for one of the large test-prep companies, teaching classroom courses, running workshops, and providing one-on-one tutoring. He has also taught the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, SAT, and countless other specialized admissions and certification exams. In addition to teaching, he has written curriculum (including thousands of practice questions), trained teachers, and starred in instructional videos.

It is this hands-on, classroom experience that led him to create the resources he did. Most of the existing resources for the GRE and GMAT are not well designed to help students through the entire process. Soon after he began tutoring, Jeff found that he needed to create his own materials. It was a logical step to put those materials together in book form. The GRE Math Bible is one of those books!

Jeff lives in New York City, where he develops study tools, offers one-on-one tutoring services, and runs a consulting firm he cofounded analyzing college baseball statistics for Major League baseball clubs.
